App::dategrep dategrep searches the named input files for lines matching a date range and prints them to stdout. If dategrep works on a seekable file, it can do a binary search to find the first and last line to print pretty efficiently. dategrep can also read from stdin and compressed files, but it has to parse every single line until the end of the range for those. INSTALLATION It is possible to install this script via perl normal install routines. perl Makefile.PL make make install SUPPORT AND DOCUMENTATION After installing, you can find documentation for this module with the perldoc command. perldoc dategrep You can also look for information at: Github Issues https://github.com/mdom/dategrep/issues AnnoCPAN, Annotated CPAN documentation http://annocpan.org/dist/App-dategrep CPAN Ratings http://cpanratings.perl.org/dist/App-dategrep Search CPAN http://search.cpan.org/dist/App-dategrep LICENSE AND COPYRIGHT Copyright 2014 Mario Domgoergen This program is free software: you can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation, either version 3 of the License, or (at your option) any later version.
